hard to believe that it’s been 7 years…

• 2017: The first-ever Thanks for Giving campaign was in 2017, and collected jackets and clothes for organizations and people in need in Ann Arbor and Chelsea, MI. We knew we wanted to make an impact and that our customers and communities felt the same, but we were just finding our feet and while our hearts were in the right place, our impact was small. Pets weren’t even our focus, can you believe that?!

• 2018: Pets and pet organizations were brought in for the first time, and knowing that our mission was to help pets and their people live their best lives through superior education and the best pet supplies and products around, it simply made sense. We reached out to local rescue organizations and we had a huge improvement in response from our team and community from the prior year. Those local rescues that we worked with were thrilled! It was awesome, and we knew we had something good here.

• Fast forward to 2020: It’s winter in Michigan, and we’re in the thick of COVID. Our Thanks for Giving Campaign has been such a huge success that we’ve extended it from just November to the end of the year. The Wags to Wiskers Ludington location has joined in and our partners are coming to collect bins and fill up their vehicles full of donated supplies every couple of weeks. To put it simply, we’re floored and so proud of the community around Wags to Wiskers for continuing to think of others when their own situation has never been more uncertain.

• Jump again to 2023: It’s our 7th annual Thanks For Giving Donation Drive! All 4 Wags to Wiskers locations will once again be gathering donations of pet supplies to help out local rescues, shelters, and humane societies in our communities!

Here’s How It Works

This is a campaign that we are always super proud to run and announce! It’s continually grown bigger and bigger every year due to the generosity of the WagsFam.

With every purchase you make at your local Wags to Wiskers Pet Supplies store, you’ll have the opportunity to donate cans of food, treats, toys, or more high-need items to our 2023 partners listed below. Keep an eye out in-store for donation boxes and signage!
